Montpellier - back to the south of France

Yay - back to the south of France and the warmer weather.  The train trip to Paris was great and then we had a couple of hours wait in Paris for our train to Montpellier.  This was spent mostly at Gare de Lyon - people watching!

We were in first class to Montpellier - 31/2 hours and it was perfect.  I think everyone except me had a nap and the seats are so comfy and there is so much space.  Perfect.

Arrived at 10.30 and quickly walked to our accommodation - perfect.

The next morning we just chilled - Karl headed off to his conference, I found a hairdresser downstairs and got my haircut and we got washing done and chilled.

Around lunch time we headed out to find a restaurant for lunch and the information centre to get a map and some advice.  Our location is great = about 5 minutes walk from the main square - yay! This was pretty easy and the next thing we found ourselves on the little tourist train checking out the historic area of Montpellier - the area which we are staying.

The cool little tourist train -

Montpelliers' version of the arc de triomphe - the cute little lights

Very cute little streets....................................................

What a cool place - we then headed home and chilled out; Karl finished early and so we had an early dinner, got the kids to bed and Karl and I went out for an explore and drink - very cool.
