Day 6 - Time for LegoLand - wahoo

Today it was bye to Waterloo and our great hotel and also bye to Karl for a few days.  Me and the boys are off to Windsor and Legoland while Karl is off to Manchester for work.

Train tickets brought and we were off - direct train which took an hour.  Cards were played for the duration and then it was straight into a taxi for a quick ride to Legoland.......yeha!
Star Wars was the first adventure and man it was very cool- Loki finally decided to spend his money and brought a Yoda alarm clock.

Then it was time for some rides - of course it was the river ride we came across first - should have brought some ponchos..............we got wet! I did one ride and decided I was wet enough while the boys figured they were wet so might as well have another couple of rides - fair call! Thankfully Connor was tall enough to not need an adult on the rides - score! Was a cool ride, lots of shrieks and laughter and a wet butt! After they had finished we tried out the drying rooms - they did not work so well!

We then spotted some cool dry rides which was awesome; one was a boat that went around and up and down and then second one was also a boat but that swung giving you that "lost tummy" kind of feeling - was cool.  The weather today was fabulous, can't believe the amazing weather we have had in London.

We spotted this on our adventures and entered the maze - thankfully the kids were with me otherwise I think I might still be trying to get out! These are really not my strength!
Spinning and swinging rides.....................................
More rides and adventures - this was the funny tummy ride!

Then it was off to the castle for the roller coaster - I did it once while the boys stayed on for three rides!
Then it was time for another wet ride - the log ride - once again the boys figured that while wet they might as well go again and again - this was a great fun ride.

Today was the perfect day to go to Legoland - there were times when we had to go round and round to get onto a ride - huge areas set up for ques, but as there were no cues these seemed a bit funny.........and overkill, however the staff assured us that one Monday there were cues overflowing and during the summer everyday! They said we certainly picked a great day to visit.
Riding in a car while laser shooting - fun times, I lost!

The giant drop -
The train ride to check out legoland to see what we still had to do.............
The pirate show - lots of laughter and people getting wet!

Then it was time for a boat ride, good sharing boys!

And then it was off to driving school where the boys had a driving lesson and we then let loose on the roads - they need some practice as do those around them.  They were meant to be driving on the left and obeying give way signs and lights!!!!  They had about 4 goes on these - great fun!

We then headed to miniature legoland where the scenes were breathtaking - amazing!

Then it was time for team work to put themselves to the top of the rocket ...........

And finally they found the x-box section where they could play lego games..........great last stop as legoland was closing very soon -
Fabulous day in Legoland - what a great place! Now time to find out way to our accommodation in Windsor-Slough.
