Day 1 - Next stop: the Abbey of Senanque

This place is one many of you may recognize - it is the quintessential picture of Provence.  To be fair it normally has rows of lavender in front..........................this is the 12th century Cistercian Abbey.  It is home to a small community of monks and nuns also still live here making honey liqueur and lavender essence.
Our view today - certainly impressive even without the lavender -

The more famous picture - might have to come back in summer!

Honey-bunny hanging out! Too cute!
