Day 5 - A day in San Gimignano

Our plan for today was to have a relaxing day enjoying the Tuscan sun with some strolling and swimming.  We slept in, had some breakfast, a quick swim and then headed into the beautiful town of San Gimignano.

My plan was to buy a purse for me and a wallet for Karl.  Karl found his wallet in the first shop! I wandered around the many bag shops and there were just so many bags and purses.

We stopped for devine gelato and explored the ancient areas before I shopped again.  

I brought a bag and a purse, eventually, and then I found the boys who were having a snack and we headed to the supermarket for supplies and then home for a swim. 

We spent the rest of the day by the pool – had antipasto for dinner! Perfect relaxing day before the next busy few days in Rome.
